YOUR SPACES

When is the last time you were ‘in love’?  Remember that feeling? Everything went smoothly, nothing bothered you, you looked great, you felt great and wow, it was wonderful.

Can you imagine feeling that every day?  Or even for 10 minutes every day?

If your home, office or designs don’t anchor that ‘in love’ feeling, they are letting you down.

2 THINGS YOU CAN DO RIGHT NOW
Change your outer world or change your inner world.
1. Outer world change ideas:
  • Clean your desk top, your wallet, your brief case or purse.
  • Organize something…a drawer, etc.
  • Give or throw way something you don’t need. Affirm:  I trust that what I need will be there when I need it and let it go.
  • Look around and Love something.
  • Take a deep breathe and drink some fresh water.
  • Light a scented candle, spray some beautiful perfume in the air, open a grapefruit and smell the freshness.
  • Open a window or door and let some fresh air in. Fawn Shui Blue window
  • Order some fresh flowers and send them to yourself and place one in each room of your home.
  • Place something yummy red in each area of your home.
  • Analyze the Art in your spaces: is it happy? restful? what is the subject?
  • Have an expert Feng Shui consultation for your home, office or project to determine which changes you can make to have the greatest impact on all areas of your life that you’d like to be even better.
2.  Inner world change ideas:
  • Smile.
  • Look up toward the ceiling (looking upward activates positive hormones, elevates our being and relaxes our body).
  • Let go of expectations, outcomes, old patterns and beliefs.
  • Change the story.  We can release a lot of emotional clutter just by looking for the nugget of benefit in an old story we have been telling ourselves.  Refuse to be a victim, delete regret and think about how you want your day to really feel.
  • Let Go:  Truly forgive and forget.  I love this saying: “Resentment is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.”  Place your awareness deep in your own heart and life and ask yourself, “What do I want to do with my life? What is going to make me happy right now?”
  • Remove all the things from your spaces (home, office, car, wallet, Facebook) that take your energy or feelings down instead of up.  I remember being a teenager and when girls would ‘break up’ with their boyfriends, they’d give everything back, gifts, rings, photos, everything.  Seemed odd to me at the time but this was precisely what allowed them to cut the ties and move on.  Kids.  Pretty smart.
We are living in certainly interesting times, and with a little expansion outside the box of our current patterns we can expand into a great new experience of life.  Come join me in the fun!
