About Feng Shui

What Is Feng Shui?

Feng Shui is a tremendously beautiful science by which we can evaluate the influence our spaces have on our lives.  Everything is interconnected and this elegant, 5000-year-old science is an elegant and uncanny method by which we can evaluate the influence our spaces have on our lives.  With this knowledge, we can make changes to bring each of us harmony, balance, and prosperity.

Feng Shui’s origins lie deep in  the human experience with nature and the need to live in harmony with it in order to survive and to thrive.

Each of us is hardwired with the information, yet we have forgotten how to access it.  The science of Feng Shui reconnects us to our world.

Over 5000 years ago, Taoist sages developed an elegant science and art through their study, awareness, and collaboration.  This science is still being used to bring harmony, balance and wealth to billions of people, governments and businesses around the world.

By becoming aware of the energy and spaces around us, and understanding how that energy influences our lives, we become masters rather than victims.   We can use this wisdom to prosper.

How it works

The system uses these tools:

·         The Bagua:  a nine-boxed grid which correlates areas of a home or office to aspects of life.  This grid looks simple but it is the basis for how energy either supports or depletes life, it’s a picture of the cycle of life, the seasons, compass points, cosmic influences, colors, shapes and energy.  This information to specific lives and spaces to restore balance and produce harmony is the task of every Feng Shui Master.

·         The “Elements”: Transformations of Life Force:  All life is comprised of energy and as you understand how energy flows and interacts, you can use this energy to better your life.   Feng Shui has qualified energy through Five Elements which either move in a creation or destruction cycle.  The Five Elements: Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Metal, correspond to energy patterns, colors, shapes, emotions, food, directions and more.

·         Intuition and Sixth-Sense:  This has been a questionable resource in our culture until now.  We are beginning to understand that we all have a direct line to our Creator and that the conversation takes place in the Stillness of our Hearts.  When you reconnect, trust and act on to the intuition and instinct that is present in your body, you become a powerful co-creator of your life.  My goal is to realign you with your intuition and help you understand the Art and Science of Feng Shui, so that you don’t need a science or another.  One of my teachers told me, “It’s only You and God.”  The rest is just ‘training wheels.”

Life is always changing, everything is alive and everything is interconnected.

Feng Shui is multi-dimensional and so are you – using the wisdom of Feng Shui in your spaces will change your life.

I went to a workshop. I try to learn; but never to copy. So is feng shui about teaching oneself or finding the right master? I am very excited about these fs ideas however it works in my life shall be a bit new. I have worked once before in the ninties with a fs master and found no results. Is it the openess that makes the difference. Joe

Hi Joseph,

Ultimately it is about you. Feng Shui puts you at the helm and center of your life but you don’t have to do it all on your own. We all need someone to show us the way every once in a while.

Feng Shui is also a different way than we have been taught to look at life. It is about being open to discover a structure that works with you.

You can do this on your own but you don’t have to. A teacher will help you understand, a coach will help you get a plan.

Don’t be afraid to ‘copy’, it’s like using trainng wheels. Trust yourself to know when you can fly along on your own.

The steps I recommend are simple but they are not always easy.
1. Clear out the Clutter ~ physical, mental, social, emotional.
2. Decide What you want in and from your life…your heart knows, it’s what makes you deeply happy.
3. Begin to develop your awareness ~ of what is around you, what you are thinking and saying, etc.
4. Change either the inside or the outside and you’ll change everything.

That is the program in a nutshell; it IS important to find a teacher and a method that you relate to because there are so many versions of Feng Shui: so many paths up the mountain.

Ultimately it is about developing clarity and boundaries, within your life and in your environment. You will then develop flow and interconnectedness but only after you are clear about who you are and what you want.

So, is there a way I can help you find what you are looking for?

First, begin small. Clear the way for clarity. Clear the clutter. Go to my website and look at the 28 day program for Clearing Clutter. I have designed it to be easy and approachable.

After your house is cleared and cleaned of the past and the distractions, then you can become clear about what you want to create and then you can get a plan to create it.

I hope that helped.

I will look at the calender. ty Joe
